Well, I chose this hotel online because it was close to airport and because of the name Hilton on it... Turns out I have to revise my criteria.
First, it was really hard to find. I used Tomtom5 Ohiio map, and the address was not there - I ended up somewhere 20 miles from it, in Cleveland. So I had to call and try to follow the vague directions from the night-shift guy. Luckily, the building is close to the highway, so I took the right exit. Well, you'd think when you have the building on your sights, nothing can go wrong? Hehe. After the exit, I ended up on a 3-ways crossing . I took the road which was going closer to the building. Well, it actually led me to another highway, and I could not turn around for 5 miles or so. Maybe I was supposed to guess that I actually had to take the way that was leading not to the hotel building, but up the hill into the woods? How hard was it to place a little sign there? Anyway, it was real fun at 2 a.m., after 4-hour drive I just had.
The room and hotel itself was fine and clean, except for one problem - the curtains on the window did not close - they were designed like that. I dont know what kind of sick idea was behind it - but I really prefer the curtains closed when I sleep or undress.
I did not want to argue with room service at 2 a.m., so I just lifted the curtains and stickied them with a pin.
The breakfast was not complimentary, and it was not something I enjoyed - the sausiges tasted awful (not so good meat?), and orange juice was not fresh. The pancakes and omelet was fine - but that was about all they had in the buffet. I was really expecting that breakfast because of Hilton brand - but it was worse than any complementary breakfasts I had on that trip in cheaper hotels.
The hotel itself is fine, except now I think I'd better stayed in downtown - a bit longer drive, but a better view from the window :)
