“Great service, will stay again”

I had a very early Sunday morning flight and a rental car to return the night before. I was picked up at the rental car facility by a very courteous, upbeat gentleman whose name I can't recall. I received the same welcome upon check-in. The hotel staff is very accommodating and I appreciate the hospitality extended to me in providing transportation from the rental car facility. I am HHonors Gold member and will stay there again.

We only stayed 1 night, but were completely satifsfied and would definately stay again, and recommend. We used the park and ride service to Cleveland airport. Our car was left for 8 days. When we called for a ride back after our vacation, we were very impressed with the promptness of our ride from the airport. Very helpful and friendly driver, too! Job well done all the way around!

Recently completed a two night stay. A relatively clean and modern facility, the property is very conveniently located to Hopkins International Airport, right off of I 480. Three right turns from the rental car lot and you're home. The exterior grounds are well kept. There is a small restaurant and bar directly off the lobby. The room contained a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, iron/ironing board, small HDTV and a work area desk. The linens were above average quality, the beds were clean and comfortable. There is a small indoor pool and exercise area. The business center was impressive with everything one would need to prepare a presentation on the fly...two computers and printers, a large copier, a three hole punch, stapler, paper clips, pens. A businessman's delight. A small strip shopping center is a very short walk away with a Subway and busy Tavern/Bar if you want an adult beverage or two after a hard day's work.
The negatives? The bathroom was not overly clean, with hairs in the shower and an unknown brown, syrupy substance splattered on the ceiling. Problems with water temperature control. No in-room safe but the property does offer safety deposit boxes at the front desk. And no MLB or NFL Network on the in-house cable, a bummer for a football fan hoping to catch the Thursday night game of the week.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. If you have business in the Cleveland area and wish to stay close to the airport, this is an above average facility at a value price.

I have revisited this hotel a couple of times and look forward to the staff, appearance and comfort at this location. The sleep number bed is amazing, the staff is exceptional and it is nice to be somewhere in cleveland where i feel safe and at home.

Got stuck in Cleveland because of delayed flights due to weather and ended up at the HGI. The hotel was busy due to the influx of guests but the staff was very polite and helped turn a negative event into a positive experience. Even better the bar closed at ten, and we got their a few mins late but the bartender decided to stay open an hour later to accommodate all of the late travelers. Finally in the morning when I realized I didn't have my iPhone charger I asked the front desk if they had a loaner and the manager let me use her personal charger.

The rooms and breakfast were what you'd expect from HGI but the pleasant staff convinced me to stay here again if I'm ever in the Cleveland area.

Nice clean hotel with a very friendly staff. The cook to order breakfast was very good, not all hotel chefs can cook. The air conditioner was loud when in cut on. Hotel is located in a good location. I would recommend this hotel to others and will probably stay here on my next business trip to Cleveland.

I started my Hilton adventures with the HGI in Great Falls Montana and enjoyed many nights there while working on the Rainbow Dam Hydroelectric Plant. I now travel all over the US teaching electrical safety and technical classes. While teaching an Electrical Safety & Arc Flash class in Cleveland I stayed at the HGI by the airport. On arrival I did not receive my 30 day advance guaranteed first or top floor king size bed room but was shuffled off on a mid floor double bed room. I advised the General Manager of the issue via email and was immediately relocated the following day with her compliments and multiple gracious in room perks. The balance of my stay was remarkable with a great breakfast each morning served by an attentive wait staff. My room was comped without question for the first night. The hotel is clean and well staffed and I have to give allowances that everyone makes an occasional mistake; it is how the mistake is corrected that a service entity lives and dies by! This HGI should live a long and happy life with the current GM in charge!
