“Great Place to stay before a ballgame”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

This hotel was in a real great location to Progressive Field and the surrounding businesses (read: Bars) The rooms were really clean and really nice. We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable.

This hotel was great for us. Good downtown location and we walked everywhere. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was good and there was a good selection. Downside - no refrigerators in room unless you rent one for $20 day so that was a bummer. Heard people in next room talking sometimes and all the hall way doors slam shut with a loud bang. I was disappointed to pay $15 a day for parking in the garage but I'm not used to city hotels. Wasn't going to pay for baggage and valet service on top of room fee, so had to haul luggage from 6th floor garage on elevator to street and up to hotel. Staff was pleasant enough, but yet I didn't feel welcomed or special. I guess the hospitality wasn't up to par. We would stay there again because of the location and the rooms were clean and spacious.

Room Tip: We requested a quiet room and did have one on the end. So we had 3 big windows and a great view of...

This hotels is spot on city center. There is a parking house across the street, easy for self parking. Walking distance to everything you want to do in Cleveland - 15 min. walk to Rock & Roll Hall of fame.

Room Tip: Room 1411 is very good and spacious.

Typical Holiday Inn. A little more rough around the edges but rooms are large. Elevators are small and parking was a pain for a full size truck but overall they did a good job.

Excellent location close to a lot of restaurants and bars! Walking distance to stadium, rock and roll hall of fame and marina.

Brianna Sampson greeting us with a welcoming smile, we were early, offered to keep our bags so we could explore until our room was ready. Explored and came back a few hours later to a wonderful greeting," There you ladies are!" She was so pleasant and talked to us about our evening out, checked us in with her fabulous smile and personality. Our room was perfect. Hardwood floors, clean open feeling. Rooms are larger than your typical Hotel room and allowed us to sit and have cocktails before heading out on the town. Location is wonderful, walk to sporting events, casino/tower city. East 4th St restaurants and bars provide so much to do! In the morning we went to our complimentary breakfast greeted once again by smiling helpful Mary our breakfast hostess. What a great way to start the day with her! Upon checkout who was there other than Brianna, same wonderful greeting, same beautiful smile. Affordable, comfortable, clean and friendly. Will stay here again and again!

our room was very stuff even with the AC on.....maybe a balcony or opening windows would help....i paid almost $250.00 for 1 night so i bet you can afford to make these accommodations..very nice window view of the terminal tower though...

Room Tip: add balconies or opening windows.....our room was very stuff even with the AC on.....

Terrible hotel. Here are the problems: Valet parking service is awful, extremely slow. The valet drivers use the radio in your car, it takes at least 15 min to get your care even though no one else is waiting. The keys to my room needed to be re-coded every day of my 3 day stay. No shampoo bottles were available on my floor, so they gave me body wash and conditioner until I tipped someone to bring me shampoo from another floor. It's very noise- old hard wood floors, no rugs, so you could hear every sound from every room up and down the hall. The internet service was intermittent. The closes in the rooms do not even have doors. Holiday Inn is not a high end chain but this hotel is more in line with Motel 6. Find somewhere else to stay and if this is all you can afford, then don't stay downtown.

Room Tip: choose one not at this hotel
