“It Could Have Been Better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

We stayed here when we went to a Cavs game. The valet staff was very nice. We forgot our tickets in the car and they ran back and got them quickly. They were very busy and got the cars to and from quickly. The front desk staff was very rude. There were three ladies who stood behind the desk and gossiped all night. When we first walked in we asked if they had a pool, and I thought my head was going to get bitten off. She rudely responded NO. This is definitely and older hotel that is indeed of some updating. It was overall pretty clean. The fitness center was a joke. It was really small. The restrooms in the lobby were clean. They had tea bags in the lobby, but no hot water? All they had was coffee. The layout of the room was odd. There were steps up into our room? When you walk in there was a long hall way. We had 2 doubles. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. The room felt empty. The desk was really small. The windows were dirty. The bathroom was clean but it needed updating. The elevators felt like they were going to drop to the ground when you got in. I don't know how often elevators are supposed to be inspected but the certificate was at least two years old. We had four free breakfast passes, but they gave the buffet free because everything wasn't on it than it usually was. We got meals too and they were really good. The service was good in there! If you are indeed of water bottles the valet has some at their desk. The hotel was conveniently located right across the street from the Quicken Loans Arena.

Room Tip: Nice view of the city

We came to Cleveland to go to a concert at Quicken Loans. The Radisson is right across the street from the arena. There are several bars and a few nice restaurants within walking distance. They had a deal with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame where we got discounted tickets for staying at the hotel. Nice, clean rooms and great service! And sleep number beds are always a good thing.

I am generally very tolerant and understand that not every stay goes as planned. This hotel was situated within walking distance to the Cleveland International Film fest and we booked it for two nights, March 28 and 29th. We did not have ANY hot water the entire stay and were told we when we checked out that we would not be charged for the stay. The front desk staff was very pleasant and I knew she was trying her best to deal with a difficult situation. There was a long line to process and one person working the front. We did not ask for a refund, we were told that ALL guests who did not have hot water would receive refunds. We were charged anyways!! I am only disappointed that despite several attempts to call, email, and write have not reversed the charge. I can't recommend a hotel that isn't willing to resolve problems...as they are bound to happen from time to time! A clean guest is a HAPPY GUEST!

I stayed at The Radisson Hotel in Cleveland with a friend for 2 nights in June 2013 and I had a really awesome time! The staff were very welcoming and our check-in procedure was quick. Our room was atmospheric and spacious and we and had a nice view of the city. I felt really relaxed in this hotel and enjoyed our time in Cleveland where we visited many attractions such as The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Hard Rock Cafe and The House of Blues. We were there on a Wednesday and were invited to the Manager's Reception, where we enjoyed some complimentary food and drinks in the restaurant. My only issue was that I would have liked a mini-fridge in the room, but other than that, everything was perfect. Staying at The Radisson made my first visit to Cleveland a truly wonderful experience and I will definately consider returning in the future!

This hotel is literally right across the street from Quicken Loans arena and in short walking distance from Progressive Field and First Energy Stadium. So it's very reasonably priced in that respect plus the room was nice and clean. You do however have to deal with a $20 per day valet fee for parking which can really add up over time.

My wife and I stayed here while attending a concert at Quicken Loans Arena. The hotel was rather busy that evening, so the front desk staff was working very hard. When we checked in, the front desk informed us that they may have an issue with hot water in the morning, due to a problem with one of their tanks. We were not concerned too much about it, as we were there to attend the concert and you cannot beat the close proximity of this hotel to the venue. Plus we were just going to drive home in the morning. We enjoyed a dinner in the new resturant on the property prior to our concert. They have a great selection of sandwiches and entrees at very reasonable prices. That morning of our stay we had a nice buffet breakfast that was included with our room rate. Once our bags were packed, we went to checkout at the front desk. We were surprised to see the same gentlemen working at the front desk that checked us in. Alex was his name, my wife and I were both amazed at his outstanding customer service skills. He was handling a very challeging situation that morning, because of the hot water outage, and he did it with such professionalism. Note to Radisson - Alex G. should be advanced to management immediately. Anyway, due to the lack of hot water this hotel reimbursed everyone's room charges, and more. And no one had to make a fuss about it, they just did it. I think it was very good of them to make this a hassle free experience for the customer.

Almost directly across the street from The Q and Progressive Field, this is a great location for sporting events. We were warmly welcomed by the valet person Anthony, who knew we came a long way to see the Cavaliers play. The room was ok, albeit with no view and slowly draining water from the tub. Of course, it had the signature Sleep Number beds, which were nice. The included breakfast buffet was fair, a bit limited and with a lot of empty bowls in the line, and cold breakfast burritos.

Thank you for your kind words regarding Anthony at the valet stand. We always appreciate hearing from our guests. So sorry that our buffet wasn't up to standard during your visit. I hope you will come and see us again in the near future.
