“Great location but average hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

The hotel is situated in a perfect area right between Jacobs Field, the Q, and the Casino. One block from the fourth street bars and restaurants. Also walking distance to the Cleveland Browns stadium and the train terminal is one block away. Now the not so good. Service very spotty but friendly. Seems quite understaffed, and we stayed a weekend of a Browns game. The internet works fine, so that is a plus, but we were hardly ever in the room. The elevators are VERY slow, so plan ahead for that if you are short on time. Very loud at night in out room, as there is an outdoor dance club very close to the hotel. All in all, a good value and location.

I stayed in this hotel, twice, ten years ago and enjoyed it then. Now that our youngest daughter has moved to downtown Cleveland, we're enjoying the Radisson all over again.

Like a beautiful but mature woman with good bones, this older hotel is aging gracefully. Everything in the lobby and rooms is updated and refreshed. The staff is topnotch and attentive and everything is scrupulously clean (a pet peeve of mine). The valets are eager to help you in, and the front desk staff is cheerful and competent.

We had a King Business room and it was wonderful. A Sleep Number bed, spacious room, large-screen TV and a bathroom with every amenity you could imagine (hand soap, bath soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, loofah, vanity kit ... and a partridge in a pear tree ... literally everything). In-room coffeemaker, but a great breakfast, free, in the lobby in the AM. Free in-room WiFi. The price was rock-bottom compared to other large cities.

Easy-on-easy-off a major expressway, easy walk to great restaurants and sports events.

One last thing -- the wastebaskets in the room can double as a wine bottle cooler. They're solid piece, lined with heavy-duty plastic. We filled one with ice, stuck in the wine bottle we brought with us, and it was still icy cold the next morning (this is only important if you're on vacation and drink wine in the morning ... ).

We'll definitely be back here many times.

Stayed here for anniversary one night. excellent service, great location directly across the street from the Q arena. not sure about why people were complaining about room darkening curtains? We had them in our room to block out the lights. We have been considering purchasing a new bed and getting the chance to sleep on the SleepNumber bed was a plus! would recommend and stay here again!

We came to Cleveland for a grand opening of bike shop. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was friendly, helpful, and very organized. Our room was better than expected. The sleep by number bed was comfy and the room was clean and spacious. We had no issues with anything and we highly recommend this hotel. The staff is fantastic and very customer oriented.

We felt ignored from the time that we pulled our car up to the valet to the time that we checked out. We pulled up to the Hotel Valet, and got out of the car. A man who worked for the hotel came out, looked at us and walked back into the hotel. At first I thought maybe he was getting a luggage cart, but he never came back out. So I went in to get someone, and ask for a cart. They informed me that all of the carts were being used, but they could park our car while we checked in. When we went to check in they gave us two keys to room #609. Me and my boyfriend carried our bags up the shaky elevator to the 6th floor to find that our room was right next to the elevators, and we could hear all of the traffic in the hall way. There were two full size beds in the room for one couple, we expected either one queen size bed or a king but we were tired from driving so rather than complain we laid down to take a nap before the concert we were going to that night. We were woken up by a group of middle aged men and women coming into our room laughing like children. When I called the desk, they informed me that they had given someone else the keys to our room since they thought it was still empty, but rather than apologizing they said "but they didn’t do anything to you right? They left your room right?" Yes they did leave our room..... Because we were there. However, if we were not in the room who knows what could have been taken from our bags. We went to the concert, and had a great time. It was a plus that we could walk down the street to the concert, however when we got back to the hotel we had also been locked out of our room. We went back down to the desk, but there was no one there. After walking around for 15 minutes looking for someone to help us, and calling from the phone at the desk for “customer service” the valet guy came back and re-activated our keys. He said that they must have de-activated all of the key cards to our room after the mix up. However no one told me that when I called the front desk after the people walked in our room. When I called and asked for a manager the next day, a supervisor (I believe her name was Melissa) informed me that they could see that I booked the room through Priceline, so they give Priceline people whatever rooms no one else wants and they were very busy. She offered to waive the $20 valet charge & a free breakfast because of all of the problems but we just wanted to check out of there and GO! Terrible customer service! I would never go back! I have booked through priceline for many other trips and never had this experience! We felt like we were being treated different because we booked through priceline.

Room Tip: DO NOT let them put you in room 609. AND apparently do not book through priceline, because "the...

We used this hotel as a 1 night stay over to take in a baseball game between Chicago and Niagara Falls. We arrived at around 7pm, check in was quick and staff we happy to answer the questions we had. Our room was big with 1 huge bed. Everything you needed was included, as you would expect from the Radisson Brand. We were a 2 minute walk from Progressive Field for the Baseball Game which was the reason we chose here.

We used valet parking which was around $20 per night, this seems normal for this service in a city. We didn't use any of the other hotel facilities.
