“great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

Great location right across from quicken and close to jacobs. A short walk (1mi)to browns stadium or hall of fame. 4th street food awesome. Casino short walk 3blks down. Also can catch redline train to westside market next to casino. Room was big for a non-suite. clean quite. A bit of a walk from the lobby as we were on the other side of arcade but didn't matter much to us. If price is an option Holiday inn express is on the other side of the block. Parking is kind of shady across the street as they said bldg was full. but only $12 a night. Since you can walk everywhere no big deal. Pick up the car in the daylight!

Me and my wife stayed here last weekend. Very nice hotel in a great locations. Walking distance to 4th Street, Tower Center and casino. The only thing I didnt care for is the commute from our room and the lobby(which is the only exit).

Room Tip: We got a room on the 5th floor suites, right by the elevator. Very noist with people coming to their...

We spent one night going to an event at the "Q". You can see it across the street. If you are looking to go to a ballgame, that is next door. The hotel is over 100 years old. Cleveland has done beautiful things with their old buildings. The ceilings are tall, the rooms are beautiful and not your usual rectangle box. The is a separate bath from sink and closet area with a fully stocked kitchen, if you are there for a long tern stay. The room where the complimentary breakfast is served, is old school elegant. There is also a happy hour with food on T, W, Th. The new Horseshoe Casino is down the street about 2 blocks. There is also a shopping mall and RTA entrance. Fourth street, a half block away, has a variety of places to eat and on a warm day you can eat outside as there is no traffic. While the parking fee seemed high it was lower than the event parking in the area and we had in and out privileges.

Great hotel for quick overnight Q events.
The location is great, right across the street. Breakfast was very good. It appears they are need of a renovation.

My husband and I came to Cleveland to see Joel Osteen at the Q. I wanted to stay somewhere close so that we could walk to the arena and avoid having to park there for the event. The Q is right across the street, so the location of Residence Inn is perfect. When we arrived at the hotel, the service at the desk was very helpful and friendly. We found our room, which was a King Studio Suite. It was like an apartment--spacious, clean, homey, with even a fireplace, as well as a full kitchen. We were so impressed! The bed was so comfortable, too, which is important since my husband has back problems. We only stayed one night, but the complimentary breakfast the next morning was beyond expectation. It was a breakfast buffet up on the 2nd floor with a wide variety of hot and cold choices, elegant atmosphere, and plenty of room...absolutely wonderful! We will definately stay here again if we come for an event at the Q. The location, the price, and the accomodations are unbeatable!

This location is across the parking lot from the Q (home of the Cavs) so that is the first big plus. The hotel is a bit dated (100 years old so I guess should be expected). Getting to our room was a bit of a maze and walk(nearly 10 minutes), but at the same time quite charming. The rooms were nice and the free breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Great option for those attending a Cavs game. Garage is rather small and was used for horse and carriage when built so make sure and inquire about size limitations if you have a larger vehicle.

Room Tip: For those who have mobility issues, best ask ahead of time about the location of your rooms as it ca...

I just got back from a 4 day stay here. The room was large and very comfortable. I had a full kitchen so I was able to purchase food and warm it up for myself. They have daily housekeeping and drop off clean towels every day even if you decline housekeeping. But I have to say the staff here were outstanding. They were always pleasant and helpful; one of them remembered my name and greeted me every time she saw me. They made it feel even more homey. There are socials Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with appetizers and free drinks, as well as a very nice daily breakfast spread. As others have noted, the parking is very tight and when there are events, you may not get a spot until the event is over. People seem to come in and stay overnight for Friday events, so Saturday morning breakfast is crowded. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay here.

Room Tip: I had a room that was off by itself - no neighbors on either side. There are 3 rooms in that section...
