“Another wonderful meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

This was a return visit for our anniversary. What a special place! Others have described the venue. The food was as always fresh and creative, without being 'weird'. Everything was very seasonal. We started with the popcorn... just try it, OK? Then potatoe soup and a roasted veggie soup. We are vegetarians, so we asked for a vege version of the 'Crop Pile of Pasta' - a wonderful but light cream sauce with delicious veggies roasted to perfection. Cookies and milk - eggnog and warm ginger snaps, along with bakedhot chocolate for desert. Whew, my mouth is watering.

“Great Dining experience, will be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We went this past weekend with friends. We had a party of 6. I was actually concerned when we got there that it was so big we wouldn't be able to hear each other, but the acoustics were great for dining and sharing stories. Dinner was great from start to finish. Our server did a great job as well, of recommending her favorites etc. Service was impeccable. When our bottle of red wine got to the table both my husband and I agreed it was too cold, so the server graciously switched out with a bottle at room temp. I know red wine should be served at 60 degrees, but I prefer mine a little warmer. Anyways, that gives an idea of the level of service. We will definitely add this to our list of favs in CLE!

“Fabulous fine dining!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Absolutely wonderful dining experience in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood. The historic building is a gorgeous, meticulously restored former bank building with an impressive interior. Very elegant and roomy space, with a unique spin. The bar is beautiful. There is nice seating everywhere. We adored the food- from appetizers to dessert, it was a culinary delight!
Drinks were creative and choices abundant. I dined here with three girlfriends, and we had a great experience. The service was excellent, the menu exquisite! I cannot wait to come back again.

I went with 3 good friends for a holiday celebration and had the Sunday tasting menu with was SUPER. our server was the best. attentive, knowledgeable, and didn't mind all of our photo requests!

LOVE the balsamic popcorn appetizer, my bolognese, my friend's chicken sausage, another friend's seafood stew, and the last friend got salmon and lobster sauce. Every mouthful was a delight.

“Beautiful old building, amazing food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

Visited on a Sunday evening for Sunday Supper with two other couples. We have gone many times to the old location for this dinner but the new one only has just started offering it and it is only about once a month. Sat at the Chef's Table-stools overlooking the salad prep area and kitchen. Ambience is like a cooking show with lots of activity right in front of you. The venue is probably the best in Cleveland- High beautifully colored and detailed ceiling, huge marble columns, breathtaking! Restaurant is very large but all one room. The food is just as marvelous as the setting. We shared two mixed salads which were tossed and extras added about an arm's length away. Everyone gets the same salad and passes it around- that's the idea of the Sunday Supper. We had an assortment of entrees, eight were offered that evening. I had a meatloaf stuffed with short rib meat. Very interesting and flavorful-like two meat courses in one. My wife had the Tasmanian salmon. It was perfectly cooked-not overdone like many restaurants- and was very tasty and perfectly seasoned. One of our companions had a huge bowl of mussels served with an amazing light white sauce-perfect for mopping up with the crusty bread that was constantly refilled for us all. Another companion had the pork chops and raved about their taste and the fact that they weren't dry or overcooked. The other two companions had repeats of the meatloaf and salmon and echoed our comments. For dessert we all shared dishes of the Sunday dessert of the day- apple buckle which was loaded with apples and flavor but not over-sweet and had a dollop of fresh lightly sweetened whipped cream on top. We enjoyed different glasses of wine and spirits, all of which were a great accompaniment to our meal. The most amazing part? All 6 dinners were $30 each plus the libations. Great Venue, Great Food, Small price, Best value in town!
