“Great hotel for the money! Would definitely stay there again.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2009

We stayed here the night before the Toledo v. OSU game. Was somewhat leary after mixed reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. Not sure what the comments about the neighborhood were about. It's a typical metro neighborhood. The hotel is very secure; a room key is needed for the elevator. The rooms were large and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom looked remodeled and all of the fixtures were clean. My only "complaint" was that the walls are very thin so if you have loud neighbors and sleep light you might have some issues, but I have that problem at most hotels. I would definitely suggest this hotel, especially with the great price. Our friends paid 2x the amount and their hotel was not any better, plus parking was free!

When I stayed here it was called Days Inn, so perhaps the hotel has changed, but when I stayed there it was quite mediocre, but not the point of intolerance. The free breakfast was nearly inedible and although I was out of my hotel twice from 9am-5pm, upon my return my room had not been serviced! And this was after specifically asking after the first day that they service the room before 5pm. The location was pretty good, close enough to the downtown attractions that they were easy to access, but far enough away to keep the price at a very attractive rate. If you don't mind walking in on an unmaid bed after a long day, by all means stay here. Perhaps the staff has smartened up since then.

Ordinary place in a seedy part of Cleveland. Worst part is that I left an expensive toiletry bag there and it was "thrown out". Um...I don't think so. More like it was stashed away. Anyone looking at the contents would have seen that maybe the guest might have gone back to get it but there was not evidence of it, even after calling up the same day. Don't you want to think that a hotel might keep your stuff for at least 24 hours???

Don't go shopping for food in the local neighbourhood. It's a scary experience.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and was satisfied. The room was very clean, including the bathroom and the linens. The hotel is dated, but it is a great value and I would recommend this hotel to anyone for its cleanliness, value, and convenience to downtown locations, including the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals. The hotel also has a fully stocked bar on site. Only a 5 to 10 minute drive to Case Western Reserve University and the Rock' n 'Roll Hall of Fame. Highly Recommend!

I stayed there for 4 nights.
The hotel totally is not a new facility, but they try to keep it clean.
The rooms, bathroom, sheets were clean.
Breakfast was very basic. Their shuttle to cleveland clinic and UH is really helpful.
I believe the price which I paid for this place and the city of Cleveland was high.
It is just a simple place.

My friend and I stayed overnight and overall the hotel isnt that bad but they could use some updates. The biggest plus was the staff being very friendly and helpful. The room was obviously smoked in before and we had no option of choosing a non smoking room. There was only one bath towel in the bathroom and it was like sand paper, luckily we read the other reviews beforehand and brought our own. The bathroom light was very dim and there was no ventilation. There was no iron and the coffee maker had no pot or filters. They had them available but you had to get them all from the front desk with your ID, which was kind of inconvenient. The location was alright, close to the attractions but kind of in the middle of rundown businesses. Overall, the room was decent. It was clean and upkept but just needed some updates. I wouldnt recommend a long stay but if you just need a place to sleep for a night, its nice.

Stayed for labor day. Room was decent. Not a five star hotel but close to dowwntown and free parking. Best if all you want is a cheap hotel downtown. No amenities but does have a bar and restaurant on site. Staff helpful as well.
