The food here is excellent with a terrific and varied wine list and a wonderful menu. We absolutely stuffed ourselves. Service was very good, even though the restaurant was packed. It is very small and probably known mostly by the locals. Our only complaint was with the hostess. We had a reservation made several weeks in advance, arrived early and she acknowledged the reservation. Then she spent several minutes on the phone discussing a potential reservation with someone else and left us standing in the doorway. And then tried to seat us in the bar as if we were walk-ins. And they had at least 2 tables for 2 available. She was reluctant to give us one, for some reason but did. We would have walked out otherwise so I'm very glad she gave us a table. The food is delicious and everything after that was perfect.
