Actually, this would be a beautiful destination at any season. We stayed in the park campground, which is very large with over 200 campsites divided into 5 different loops, all separate from the other so it doesn't seem as big as it is. Shower houses could use some updates, but externals of buildings well kept. Park is very rolling and wooded. Lots of short trails. Lodge was lovely. Many rental cabins down by the lake and looked nice. Fall colors were awesome!! Definately family friendly.
