“Nice Clean Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

This was a nice Embassy Suites. The lobby area and pond with fish and turtles was very neat. Ask early in the day at the desk if you can feed the fish. The pool was nice but a little small and very crowded when we were here or the 4th of July weekend. Elevators are slow. Room was good and comfortable, the bed wasn't the greatest. We got to see some of the fireworks from our room and that was nice. The breakfast is as always great, Love the omelet bad is great, you can also get bacon, sausage, and pancakes here. We always go to breakfast between 7:30-8:00 for the least crowds and that worked great for us here as well.

The hotel is in an office complex but has a large mall near by and several places to eat. Not too far out of cincy but enough to be cheaper still close and nice.

Good place to stay.

My wife and I are frequent travelers and generally stay at Hilton properties, with a preference for Embassy Suites. The hotel property in Blue Ash was one of the worst Embassy Suites I have ever seen. The entire property looks tired, with worn carpets and a general air of neglect. The rooms were old looking, a large crack ran across the ceiling of our room. The staff seemed disinterested and disengaged - room service dishes where allowed to sit outside the rooms without any clean up , dishes that were outside rooms when we checked in at 3 in the afternoon where still there at 9 the next morning when we checked out.

Even the breakfast, normally one of the best features of an Embassy Suites was very poor - the cook was totally disengaged and was almost insolent in his dealings with people. Dirty dishes left on tables, tables not cleaned between patrons.

Definitely on my NOT RECOMMEND list!

Room Tip: Don't stay here - a motel 6 would be a better choice

Green Features: They have environmentally friendly practices - it certainly wasn't evident

I did not have to stay over night at this Hotel but everyone there are fun to be around. The rooms were very clean, easy to get to, and provided the phone numbers for fast foods outside the hotel for my own use. Towels were available at the pool for our use and we did not have to take these from the hotel room. The parking was easy and near the hotel. It was well lite so going outside at night was not a scarry option. The common areas were comfortable and roomy. Fresh coffee and/ or Lemon water were available in the lobby for our use.

Embassy Suites is our first pick for accomodations. The breakfast is unbeatable, the space is fantastic, and the locations are top notch. Unfortunately this one needs some help.

The rooms need a refresh. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are great. Our desk lamp in the office area didn't work at all, neither did 1 of the 2 lights in the living room area. It's dark while I'm typing this. The shower head is loose, wood is chipped from the sink area, and the main picture on the wall above the bed has a cracked frame. As others have stated, the noise travels unusually far from the atrium and is very noisy during breakfast.

The common areas are nice. The elevators are not banked, there are 4 singles throughout the hotel. The huge disadvantage is that if you have a cart on the 3rd floor and a family of 22 are in the elevator from the 4th, you have quite a bit of waiting on your hands or you have to walk to another.

We called it a night early one night and wanted to hit redbox or do an on demand movie, the hotel does not have on demand nor a DVD player so we went to a theatre instead.

Put a couple of grand in new furnishings into each room and you are good to go. As for us, we'll probably look at the Homewood Suites near Kings Island when it opens.

Room Tip: The west side is away from the breakfast area, if you want to sleep in ask for a room there.

Just stayed there for an overnight while having eye surgery. The hotel is conveniently located to Reed-Hartman Hwy and near many businesses,, etc. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. Like many Embassy's I've stayed at, this one has a very open courtyard with a fountain/waterfall. The rooms are on a square surrounding it. The room itself was very comfortable, roomy and nice! The evening reception was very good and had vegetables, nachos, etc. The breakfast was good too with the usual Embassy fare. What must be bragged about the most is the very personal service at this Embassy. Often, when I've stayed at Embassy the service is good and professional but especially personal. This hotel has the professionalism, efficiency but they go above and beyond to speak and help in any way possible! Will be staying there again next month.

Dear Teals121212:

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay while in town for the tournament. Many of our guests return because they not only enjoy our spacious suites, they love to start their day with our cooked-to-order breakfast and then wind down in the evening with our reception! I am terribly sorry to hear about the noise you experienced from the other children and as we speak are working on plans to put on place to address that issue. Thank you again for your review! We hope that you stay with us the next time your travels bring you to Cincinnati!

This was the first we have stayed at an Embassy Suites Hotel. The room was amazingly clean. We travel a lot in the summer for baseball and I must say this was the nicest, cleanest hotel we have stayed in so far.
