“I would drive PAST other Courtyards to stay here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

Where do I begin....
We were camping at a nearby fairgrounds, and got rained out, and on, and through and through.
We had been to the shopping area behind the hotel, so drenched we went to this courtyard...

We couldn't have been happer with accommodation anywhere.

We got an end suite at a reasonable price, which was perfect for my wife, and my 2 daughters who were with us..
the room was outstanding, clean and fresh, and the sheets hat that little snap of starch then make them crisp. the little bistro in the lobby is not to be missed, and even when it was busy the staff served us like we were in the kitchen at their own home. The Desk staff knew how to take care of business, and checked us in, and did not have to be reminded about my Marriott points....

This property SOLD me on the Courtyard brand, I know that they wont all match up to this level but heck this one was outstanding... Hey Marriott... send your other Courtyard staff to train here (particularly your Indianapolis Marriott hotel staff, who are horrible).

Room Tip: Corner suites have a balcony, great for summer night patio sitting thay may cost a little more, but...

The location is on the same property as the mall. Retail shopping as well as many chain restaurants. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. My room was probably the most well decorated Courtyard I have stayed in yet. Bright and clean. Complete amentities in the bathroom include body wash. Would recommend to anyone and will always stay here when in the area

Great place. Professional and helpful staff at desk, Bistro and housekeeping, convenient location, very well-maintained, nice rooms, safe. Mall across parking lot. We will go back if in the Dayton/Beavercreek area again.

Stayed for two nights.

Room was decent and recently refurbished.
It is clean.
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Could not get the HVAC to work properly and could hear noise from other rooms.
The bistro concept is interesting and worked for me for breakfast.
Right across two malls--so you can't go wrong there.
The price was a little higher than I thought it would have been for the midwest and for a courtyard--I think you may get more from and Embassy Suites.

All in all not a bad value.

We stayed here in January 2013 during a visit to The Air Force Museum. The hotel was conveniently located - a short drive from the museum, and you can walk across the parking lot to get to the mall. Lots of other conveniences within a couple minutes. The hotel felt very new, was in great shape and had sleek, modern decorating. The room was clean and included a small refrigerator. My teenager got a stomach bug while we were there (and also has food allergies) and the woman at The Bistro was fabulous about helping him find something soothing. In addition, the front desk staff was helpful, attentive, and friendly, always greeting us when we were coming or going. If we're in the area again, this is where we will stay.

I was really impressed with this Courtyard. The lobby had been updated, it was really pretty & clean. There was a tiny little convenience store with a micro-wave by the front desk. They also have a new 'bistro' now at the back of the lobby, and our breakfast was really good; with Starbucks coffee, I might add! The room was your typical room for a Courtyard - clean, nice bed & pillows and we had no trouble sleeping once the noisy kids AND their parents decided to not have a fun-fest in the hallway at 10:30 at night....oh well....at least we were comfortable and we would definitely stay there again if we're in that area.

Room Tip: Usually, I say to NOT stay by the elevators. Especially if there are a lot of guests booked during...

Our boys had a swim meet at Wright State this past weekend. We weren't going to stay overnight anywhere, but at the last minute I put out a bid on Priceline and we were awarded this lovely hotel. It was a great location to the pool, across the street from the mall and close to many restaurant choices. The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My boys had egg sandwiches for breakfast and they were delicious. We will stay here again!
