“Hotel needs to be closed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2012

Checked in to the hotel today after waiting in a line while the two individuals at the front desk were arguing with visitors who mistakenly received a smoking room after reserving a non-smoking room. Clerks never admitted the fact there was a problem. Check in for us was no problem but after going to our nonsmoking room it smelled badly of smoke and even had ash trays. The clerk specifically told us this was a nonsmoking room. The room and grounds looked horrible, but I understood that we were getting what we paid for. Then here is the worst - went to use the restroom and the toilet would not flush, the toilet paper roll was halfway pulled from the wall and the entire bathroom looked a mess. Do not go here...it's a shame and should be closed down. We did not even argue and just left the hotel. I am going to find out who I call to report how terrible this place is. Do NOT go...there are better deals closer to
Dayton.

Room Tip: Look for hotels closer to Dayton such as the Red Roof or Hampton Inn. If you pay a little bit extra...

The manager gave a key to my room to my soon to be ex husband who is not on the registration. I walked in my room and find him. This is illegal and not to safe do not go to the hotel. When I asked him why he gave it to him he said he didn't know. He has not made any attempt to correct the situation or rectify the situation.

Cheap motel, reasonably safe and in a convenient location with helpful staff. However the saving grace of budget places like this is usually cleanliness which this did not have. The sheets were clean but nothing else was - sticky carpet, rusty shower, moldy shower curtain, etc. The rooms all also smelt badly of smoke. Not very pleasant, would not recommend even for the low price.

I don't know what room that one reviewer stayed in but it wasn't ours!
I suppose this hotel would look great if you had spent the last 10 years in Calcutta !
The carpet had soap scum from being cleaned, we were afraid to step in some parts of the tub because it would bend and felt like it was going to go through the floor.
You could read the paper through the towels and they only put two bath towels in the room. Mattress must be 20 yrs old, I actually woke up with my hip throbbing from laying on my side! Then there was the lovely couple one door down who decided to start fighting at 1 AM. We had to call 911 because the night mgr. wouldn't
So we had sheriff dept outside with blinking lights till 3 AM. Pillows are crap too.
DONT STAY HERE !!!

This hotel is actually pretty decent. It's located in a good location right off of Route 35 near Dayton, Oh. The only issue was that the towels were not that clean and the carpet needs to be vacuumed more.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Would rather sleep in my car all night than to sleep here for twenty minutes. The carpets feel like there is something on them sticky like. The people working at the hotel say our room is a non smoking room, but it smells like someone has been smoking in there.. we're not talking about maybe a once or twice thing.. this has been a long time smoking room. The bathroom fans are so loud!!! Anyway the first night.. we bought some chips and soda's and kept them in the hotel. we were staying for two nights. Who ever cleaned our room.. if you even call it that.. threw the chips and pop away. Our bags and everything was still in the room so they knew we were still there.. They didn't leave us towels.. Again.. They left two towels for a four person room the first night when they "cleaned" our room we didn't get any. The hotel management can not speak English what so ever so if you try to complain you can't understand them. There is a picture of donuts, muffins and orange juice in the lobby, when we checked in they told us that they had breakfast until 10.. we get there about 7 45 and there is nothing but toast down there... This is the worst place i have ever stayed and will never stay there again! Do your self a favor and try to find another hotel!!!!!
