This hotel was out home for 6 months. The location is perfect as it is only a 10 minute walk to the train station, a bus stop out front and secured parking. The facility has excellent washing machines and dryers downstairs and a adequate combo in the bathroom. There is a Gym plus an outdoor deck BBQ area with clean cookers.

The rooms are tastefully decorated with fantastic quality bedding. Our room had two TV's, a DVD with free rentals plus internet access.

There is a handicap room here (where we stayed) that has a huge bathroom. Only complaint is that whoever designed the hotel placed the handicap room at the furthest point from the elevator (not smart thinking).

The staff are fantastic. They work hard and will fix any issues you may have. The rate was reasonable for a serviced apartment.

Room Tip: The corner rooms have extra windows

Dear David,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this lovely review. It was a pleasure having you and your family stay with us. That is a good point about the location of the handicap room. I will pass this on to our head office so that they can keep this in mind when designing future Quest properties.

Thanks again and we hope to welcome you back to Quest Mawson Lakes one day!

Kind regards,

Melanie Stanley

Stayed here as part of our job relocation. Easy to find, clean self contained rooms, attentive staff.
Clean BBQ area with lots of room for a few friends over to say bye.
Seperate rooms for our children, great kitchen and lounge.
A bit far away from anywhere but it was perfect for us as we weren't sight seeing.
Cars can go into a locked compound at night which is nice too.

Thank you so much for another fabulous stay at a Quest location. We decided with a car there was no need to stay in the CBD and this was a very peaceful location. All our needs were met and beyond all expectations. We always request a room away from the lift to ensure a quieter ambience and not getting stressed by other nosiy guests. The staff were always on hand, courteous, helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make us feel well & truly welcome. Keep up the excellent work team
Very well stocked brochure collection of things to do throughout the area and the state in general. Close to great eateries
We would definitely return and highly recommend to others

I stayed at the Quest with many members of my family from Monday to Thursday. We had 4 apartments that ranged from from a single bedroom studio, to two two-bedrooms, and the suite that accommodated a member in a wheelchair. The apartments were all spacious, clean and well serviced with good kitchens and other facilities. The location is out of the city, but was convenient to us for this trip.

The stand out feature of our stay, however, was the Quest staff. We had someone in a wheelchair and a young toddler and visiting family as well as those staying at Quest. The staff were extremely helpful, very professional and very friendly, including the housekeeping staff. In particular, my thanks to Renee, whose courtesy and friendliness was exceptional during a sad time for the family. And especially thanks to Renee for the return of the treasured tie. :-) The Morgans.

Really can't fault the room itself - we had a 2 bedroom apartment which had 2 pretty reasonable sized bathrooms, kitchen/dining area and living area. The main bedroom was massive, plenty of room to lay out our luggage etc. it was all quite new and very clean.

The only issue we had was with the area itself. We stayed on a weekend which may have been our first mistake as there was really hardly anyone about. I suspect that during the week when the uni students and business people are around the place might have a better atmosphere. The lake, restaurant strip and supermarket were an easy walk away, but it wasn't a particulary pleasant walk past construction sites and the like.

I think if you were having to stay somewhere in this area for business I would definitely recommend this hotel, but if you're visiting Adelaide (as we were) I'd possibly suggest somewhere other than Mawson Lakes.

Dear Tanyah,

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our Two Bedroom Apartment. It is a shame that Mawson Lakes didn’t meet your expectations. We consider it to be an upcoming area offering a good mix of retail and dining facilities alongside lakes & landscaped parks. We also like that it is well connected to Adelaide City, via rail the journey takes approximately 20 minutes.

Thanks again for your review.

Warm regards,

Melanie Stanley

Perhaps my heading is somewhat misleading, because we have never had a bad experience at Quest Apartments. But we didn't expect such a spacious apartment as that at Mawson Lakes. By far, this is the best Quest we have stayed at.

We arrived from Pt Pirie at 7pm, and easily found the Quest at the top of Main Street in Mawson Lakes. As this was a one night stay, (we had a flight to catch next morning) we tried to book a studio room, but there were no vacancies. Next available was a 1 bedroom apartment. $159.00 Compared to Adelaide CBD, this was very reasonable indeed. Staying at Mawson Lakes, it also meant we didn't have to drive that extra 30 mins into the City.

The apartment was like new. The very large kitchen, lounge, dining had no partitions or walls. Whilst this might anoy some guests, we found that it worked well. Although we didn't utilise the kitchen, it was equiped with everything you could possibly need. Dining table for four, lounge suite for four, coffee table, two work desks, adequate lighting, ADSL internet connection (not sure if there was a fee), several large windows (not much outlook though), TV, dvd player, and last but never least, was a very large bathroom.

Recommended!

Chris

Room Tip: We ended up in the disabled room (214). Can't say if this was a good or bad thing.
