If you're thinking of staying in Murray Bridge, I'd explore other options first.
This place is clean enough, but badly in need of updating and has REALLY basic accommodation - a tiny tv, small room and old-fashioned decor. On arrival, the owner tried to give us a room which he admitted had a power problem, with it being impossible to run the air conditioner and kettle at the same time! Needless to say, for $110 a night, this is in the realms of a Basil Fawlty experience. As it was, the air-conditioner in the room we did take was a window unit that was extremely noisy and a little concerning health-wise as it looked so old. At least we could stay cool, make a cuppa and watch the tiny tv without worrying about the power cutting out....
Location-wise, the motel is a fair way out of Murray Bridge and feels quite isolated - it's apparently next to an army shooting range! - yet there are a surprising number of heavy trucks that could be heard from the road outside. Perhaps just as well the air conditioner was so noisy!
For $70 or so, this place would be acceptable, but for $110 we definitely felt ripped off. I know the owner is supposed to be updating the motel, but until all rooms are done, he needs to drop his prices... this place isn't a patch on the two previous places we stayed in, yet they were cheaper!
