“A wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Finally made it to this wonderful establishment and well worth the wait. Do try the Degustation menu with matching wine and let the whole experience wash over you! Fabulous service, absolutely delicious food made with great care. The setting is gorgeous; sweeping views
down over McLaren Vale to the coast. Really appreciated the terrific service at the Cellar
Door at D'arenberg too ; very interesting info on their wines and the wine makers. Great
day all round. You must book as the demand, not surprisingly, is high.

“A standout!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

We have dined here several times and every occasion has been a delightful experience. The food is fantastic. The combination of ingredients and flavours is original and exceptional. Add to that a unique location and view, fine wine and lovely people. A wonderful dining experience.

“Faboulous Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We thoroughly enjoyed the degustation menu, it was a careful and well thought out menu and the food was delicious. We loved the crab/lobster dish, the flavours were divine. We shared the matching wine and it was great to have the mines matching the dishes and to try so many of their wines. Even though it was 8 courses it was just the right amount of food. Excellent service and lovely views over the vineyard. I would be back in a heartbeat if it was local to me, and the $240 price tag was not too hard to swallow given how delicious everything was.

“Great Lunch Spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

We chose the degustation menu this time. Sitting on the veranda, we were not required to adhere to the 2h lunch timing. We arrived at 12 and left at 2 and enjoyed the long lunch menu. Each course is paired with 2 different wines from d'Arenberg's line-up, which is a great opportunity to taste different wines. The food is prepared artfully and really works out the flavours. Highly recommended!
