“Best curry in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

The owner of this lovely cafe is very happy to serve your coffee and clean up after you. They make wonderful Lapinjas and Baguettes as well. Something for everybody here.

“Feedback”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

I came in for lunch on Thursday 21st. with a friend.
We each had a vegetarian foccacia and a medium size freshly squeezed juice and we shared
a large size cone of chips. The whole lot came to $40.05, not unusual for lunch for 2, except
that on this occasion the meal was overpriced. Why? Well, the chips were good as always,
the drinks were fine but the foccacias! Not good value at all, the bread was bland and the filling
was skimpy. They need to put more filling in.

Could it be that they made a mistake with the pricing? I think the chips came to $4.50, which leaves $35.55 for 2 drinks and 2 foccacias. Assuming that the drinks were about $7 each, that means the foccacias came in at $21.55 for 2. Could this be right? We don't mind paying for quality but that's not what we got.

We didn't have time to make a comment on the day but when we talked about it afterwards, we
realised what had happened.

“Nice little cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2011 via mobile

Food was very nice, service was a little slow but it was a bit busy. Plenty of local produce can be bought too.

“Best place for a foodie!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2011

We searched Port Elliott, Middleton, Victor Harbor & Goolwa for some decent food during our 4 night stay down there, and this place was definitely the pick of the lot! We popped in to have a look and got some take-home curries with rice which we had for dinner that night and we loved them so much we headed back there the next day for lunch. They are open for breakfast and lunch, as well as having take home meals and some gourmet products to buy. Good baguettes, coffees and juices, as well as homestyle meals like duck pie and pumpkin & caramelised onion soup which is what we had. Definitely recommend!
