“Beautiful part of the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

The views were absolutely stunning and the gardens were really well maintained. We did not eat at the tea house as we had not long had our breakfast.

“Pleasant lunch by the lake”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

The number thing that the tea house has going for it is its location along the shore of Lake Barrine. The gardens outside have beautiful Ulysses butterflies too. Lots of visitors today for lunch as it was a Sunday on school holidays in the peak season - suitable for all ages. Probably due to the number of visitors, it took a little time to clear our table, order food and to get our food. Our meals were tasty, but not amazing. The Devonshire tea comes with a bottomless cup if you order tea as your drink.

“Very Good Soup”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

This was a nice stop with a lovely view for lunch. I had the pumpkin soup and it was yummy! The bushes out front were covered with Ulysses Butterfly. This made for some lovely pictures. We enjoyed the view but did not take the cruise around the river. The weather was a bit cool. It may have been a much more enjoyable visit had it been warm enough to go swimming in the lake.
