We've been here several times in the past and this did not live up to those memories.
Love Yungaburra and always enjoy a visit here once or twice a year but the food options are limited since Eden House closed the restaurant.
Perhaps it was the limited options with Lynn's wheat and dairy options but we were a little disappointed with the night.
Lynn could only have the confit of duck and for $30, a small leg of duck with a few pieces of potato seemed expensive.
I did a little better as I had 2 pieces of pork as my main and it was well cooked.
The creme brulee which sounded good was disappinting as it came stright from the fridge.
Flynn's does not allow BYO (the waitress had to ask what BYO meant - it is obviously not a familiar term in the region) and the wine list is limited and disappinting.
it did though have one of my favourite wines, a Ringland Shiraz but it was $54 and I am used to only paying $19
We chose a Spanish Grenache but unfortunately it had a cork and the waitress had no experience with how to use the corkscrew so we nearly had a bottle of cork to drink.
I do though like the atmosphere of the restaurant - it is a pleasant atmosphere and has a fun environment.
