Sharon goes out of her way to make you feel very comfortable and welcome. The games room was great with pool table, spa, sauna & cd player with many cds. Nice, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. A beautiful place & breakfast was yummy. We'll be back!

Will be delighted to have you back. We find the Games room very popular with both groups and couples with the wood fire and the temptation of the 3/4 size billiard table can make a real fun evening. Situated in a separate building from the main house noise is not a problem for the party goers.

A lovely building with beautifully decorated rooms. Sharyn was a warm and welcoming host and her teddy bears were great fun. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was nice after coming back from dinner to sit infront of the log fire with a cuppa and relax.

The accommodation was fantastic and first class but Sharyn made it just so special. We felt like we'd know her for years! Log fire was lit as soon as we arrived, complimentary very tasty wine and cheese platter before heading off for dinner and breakfasts were enormous and yummy. Good coffee too. We had a lovely three nights here and have been recommending Sharyn and her wonderful B&B to everyone whether they want to hear or not!

Room Tip: No tip, all rooms are gorgeous. Big tip, stay here rather than an impersonal motel when in Stanthor...

Thank you so mush for taking the trouble to do a review. I have found the 3 Night Special is becoming so popular. Just enough time to relax and still get out and about to discover the atmosphere of the Granite Belt. I'm pleased you too enjoyed it.

Loved our stay with Sharyn at Loggers Rest, Stanthorpe. Attention to detail and the wonderful welcoming atmosphere make this a perfect 'home away from home'.. In fact, it was better. I didn't lift a finger! Wide verandahs to catch the Autumn sun and a roaring fire inside when it gets chilly and I have to mention Sharyn's breakfasts .. Wow! Fluffy blankets, coffee, chocolates, a fire and a good movie... what a way to end a busy day of cellar door wine tasting, country touring and delicious restaurant discovery. Fabulous!

Nothing like a wood fire to make the perfect atmosphere. I'm pleased to hear you felt at home and enjoyed the opera.

Perfect for winding down, great accommodation, quiet and great service.
What a great getaway-this is what B&B's should all be like. Breakfast is an absolute feast, with real coffee.
Oh BTW check thier DVD guide -we watched The Vikings - Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis & Janet Leigh-perfect with a glass, or two of Tobin Shiraz

I'm pleased you could find something to watch while sitting in front of the fire. We do have a selection of DVD's that anyone under the age of 60 would not have seen but with more up to date DVD's their is something for all.

Logger’s Rest was the ideal place to stay for our 3 nights in Stanthorpe. Sharyn was the perfect host and cooked great breakfasts. Sitting around the breakfast table meant we could meet the other guests and get hints on where to visit. The location within walking distance of town (15 minute flat walk) made visiting local restaurants easy. Catching the late afternoon sun on the verandah, while enjoying our fruit and cheese platter with a bottle of local wine or with fresh scones, jam and cream and a cup of tea, was a wonderful way to end a day. Our room was beautifully appointed and spotless - the teddy on the bed looked very much at home. We stayed in room 3 which had a window behind the bed which meant we could have fresh air overnight. This room is on the back of the house so we got no road noise – there is very little traffic at night so I doubt the rooms on the front were noisy.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The 3 Day Special is proving to be very popular with a cheese/fruit platter and a bottle of local wine to sample. thank you for the review.
