“A Pub lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

It seems that all of the pubs on the Sunshine Coast are now offering meals with a similar menu. The Duporth Tavern has recently been renovated in the out door seating area and I think is catching up to other offers nearby. The meals are cheap but the cheaper meals reflect the price and I would suggest that there is more value in ordering the dearer but more traditional pub meals on the menu.
The service was prompt, the bar was fine and the seating areas offer plenty of choice. Parking on the premises.
If a Pub lunch is OK then it is worth a try although there other pubs that might be considered too.

“Good service OK food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013 via mobile

Ate there twice this week, with Tuesday's special excellent value for money, food good but tends to be slightly overcooked, service good thanks to Elaine who is excellent, good menu, nice surroundings, will return.

“Disappointing service & meal”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

Overall disappointing service & meal. We ordered 4 meals - 45 minutes before it arrived - delivered in 3 separate orders so we didn't eat together. 2 tables arrived after us & received there orders before us. (You already know something has gone wrong)
Meal order completely messed up - ordered T-bone Steak with rosemary potatoes, seasonal vegetables, creamy garlic prawn topper but received cold T-bone Steak, with mash potatoes, Dianne sauce and onion rings. Table waiters admits the original order given to someone else.

I even typed the order out on the iPhone & checked the receipt?

“Pretty good food and service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013 via mobile

Had dinner on a Tues night during school hols. 2 of us had steak. One was slightly overdone, the other just right. Steaks were very tasty but not quite as tender as other petite eye filets I've had. The barramundi was a thin piece but otherwise good. The fries/chips were good-crispy and well seasoned. The veggies with one meal were a little lacking in flavor, like the carrots were sitting in water for too long. But they seemed fresh not frozen. We had an Entertainment coupon so overall were happy with the value. The restaurant is pretty big, and it's a good choice if you have kids because they can walk around a bit without annoying other diners.

“Average food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

The salt and pepper calamari was far too salty - very disappointing. Meal portions were quite small. We didn't order the special for the evening so expected a better standard. Service was friendly but very slow even though the place wasn't crowded. We wouldn't go back there.
