“Great place for your caravan with everything close at hand!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

I have stayed here numerous times throughout July, Aug and Sept months. The location is perfect for that short walk to cafe's, takeaway or dine in resturants, RSL, the beach and main shopping centres. The river sites are the best position for viewing the sunset and pelicans all while sitting at your own caravan with nibbles and drinks.
Great facilities for the toilets and showers. Only one block was a bit older but they are always clean and tidy. I like the idea that they have key access so you know the general public can't just walk in and make a mess.
Owners were are very helpfull and accommodating. Even helping my grandparents dismantle their caravan annexe when the flood warning was issued a few years ago.
The sites are well sized and most have enough room to park your car along side the caravan and annexe. The streets are also fairly wide which gives my grandpa plently of room to reverse the caravan in seven or eight times untill my nana is pleased.
No need for a pool or playground with the beach or river access from either end of the park and with close proximity to attractions.
They also welcome guests to stay with only a small fee.
Definately reccommend for elderly people, or a family.

Room Tip: River view rooms are magical if you can get in quick to secure them

Very accomodating, we had two large vans and they didnt mind how we situated ourselves on the sites. New showers lovely, beach great , close to shops , bike paths, etc

The location of this park right on the Maroochy river and Maroochydore beach is sensational, and it is in close proximity to restaurants, cafes and shops. The facilities are clean and good but for us, the park is just far too big and crowded. We managed to luck a river front site which is just beautiful, but I don't think we would like to stay elsewhere in the park. The office staff are friendly and helpful, but they are very busy due to the sheer number of sites, and it can certainly take some time to be attended to, at least that was the case in our brief experience here. Nothing wrong with the park, but just a bit too big for our liking

Room Tip: Only go for a riverfront or beach front site on the perimeter of the park
