We had the pleasure of dining at the Key Restaurant Maleny again last night and this time we tried the Friday night buffet - Tastes of Africa. Once again, the staff and owners make you feel so welcome, this would be the best service on the Sunshine Coast that we have experienced. The food, wow, there was plenty of it! We started with the Chilli Beef Soup it was delicious. Quite hot but they had a lovely pumpkin soup for the kids. This followed by some of the most delicious satays, curries, fish stew, and goat curry that I had ever tasted. I would have to say that the slow cooked goat curry was definately my favourite and my partners favourite was the chicken satay and the soup. There was plenty of not-hot food for the kids to enjoy, the desert was amazing. Panna Cotta made from vanilla beans from Madagascar I believe! Again, what a lovely night out, very comfortable, silver service, and 5 star food. I am not an easy one to impress but we have had two really great nights at this restaurant and both were exceptional.

Hi Lisa, many thanks for your kind words. It was a pleasure as always to serve you and your family and it was great to see your kids "tuck in" to the pumpkin soup, various main course dishes and of course the ice-cream and chocolate sauce for dessert whilst you and your husband enjoyed the selection of some of the more spicy main courses followed by our Chef Simone's delicious vanilla bean Panna Cotta with fresh Rasberry Coulis on top. We look forward to seeing you all back again soon.
