We decided to have lunch at the Terrace on Easter Sunday...with my Mother as our guest.
I had specifically asked for a table with a view- meh - next time I will ask very specifically to sit at the main window.
Settled comfortably with a beer for him and sparkling pink Moscato for mother and me- we surveyed the menu.
Our charming host explained the chef specials:
We ordered our mains- for me, the lobster special: fresh and delicious. My Mum had the barramundi- also declared to be well cooked and fresh. My husband had the paella- also fresh and well prepared/ cooked.
The restaurant was well attended but not so busy that it was distracting.
We had a delicious wine with lunch selected from the wine list which is extensive enough to provide for all palates and budgets.
To dessert! The tasting plate ;(sampler) I shared with Mum looked too good to eat.
Hubby had the dark chocolate and orange.
Coffee- hot very good quality and well made with a firm thick crema.
Overall another delightful lunch - our thanks to the chef and team at the Terrace.
To borrow from MacArthur- we shall return!!
