“Lovely place for all ages”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

Lovely place to spend time. More road signs in town would direct more visitors. With development taking place now it is going to be even more enjoyable. To sit in the gardens and view the mountains is so peaceful and good for the soul. Well done by the owners to spend so much time and money developing such a wonderful environment for everyone to enjoy. Good luck to you. Bev. (Grafton).

“Water, mass plantings of colour, frogs and iris....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Was surprised by the colours if the iris, loved seeing the frogs nestled by the water edge, enjoyed the diversity of the displays..... happily waiting to see what time will bring as the gardens mature...will definitely go back more than once to this garden in years to come. Great place to let children run (easier when they are safe around water) but manageable any way, though fairly steep in places - wear sensible shoes and socks. Not so sure about some of the sculpture...preferred the natural environment to the somewhat out of place pieces displayed. Another reason to eagerly await the garden growing, as they will become less prominent amongst the plantings! lots of sitting spots, and you can take a thermos and muffins (as we did) under shade or enjoy the hospitality offered.

“Truly Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Loved the pools and waterfalls and huge variety of plants. So many beautiful colours of flowers as spring arrives. The views of the Glasshouse Mountains is stunning. Will rival some of the great gardens in the world as time goes on. The Devonshire Tea afterwards was the best I've had! Look forward to visiting again soon and highly recommend it to everyone.

It is always so gratifying that our visitors enjoy what we offer, whether it is on a culinary level with our 'Wholemeal and Date Scones, real Maleny Dairies Cream and Milk' Devonshire Tea, or visually through the enjoyment of the beautiful Garden and views of the Glasshouse Mountains.

“Good now, stunning in future”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Considering that most of this garden is less than seven years old, and that development continues, in a few years it will be outstanding. Rich volcanic soil, a climate friendly to both temperate and sub-tropical plants, enthusiasm and finance have combined here. Add great views and staff to the mix and it becomes a must visit to any garden enthusiast in the area.

Thank you for your wonderful review of the Gardens. I wholeheartedly agree that the owner has created an amazing garden in a very short space of time, aided by his staff and climatic conditions that are mostly favourable (when not in drought or flooded by the tail end of a cyclone). In November a further section of the gardens will be opened along with a Walk-in Bird Aviary.
