My husband and I ate lunch here whilst visiting the area over a long weekend. The vibe is relaxed and funky and the lunch menu was comprehensive, with a number of blackboard specials also on offer.
My husband opted for the Salt and Pepper Calamari special, and I ordered the Chilli Con Carne pie special. Both dishes were fresh and full of flavour and perfectly cooked. We also ordered one of the freshly squeezed juices which was really great, but could have done with one or two ice cubes to cool it down on a sweltering day.
The service was fast and friendly and we enjoyed our meals immensely. The serving sizes are rather generous, and we were glad to opt for the smaller specials once we saw the size of the burgers that we had originally intended ordering (which could almost be shared between 2!).
If it's a hot day, sit under one of the fans if you can't get a table outside, as there's no aircon and it gets really warm inside.
