As a Brisbanite who has visited the Maleny area for the past 20+ years, I'm happy to say that Cappriccio's has been part of the experience for much of that time.
Mind you, with friends in the area, this restaurant had always acted as a guaranteed enjoyable meal without the 'do-it-yourself' factor! I have, on almost every occasion, eaten this restaurant's meals in a take-away capacity. I can therefore not comment on the in-house dining itself.
My most recent visit to Cappriccio's was last week, when my wife and I ordered a family pizza to take back to our room. We decided on the Mediterranean lamb pizza which was quickly prepared and cooked. Within 10-15 minutes we were on our way, lunch in hand.
The pizza itself was very enjoyable; flavoursome toppings which were generously dealt, a delicious thin and crispy base, and large enough to ensure my wife had slices left over. Sadly, her gluttonous husband didn't!
The price for the pizza was $29, while the additional garlic bread (bought on a whim) took the total to $36. Not the cheapest pizza we've ever had but, considering the quality and the simple fact it was bought in a tourism-oriented town, we had no complaints.
All in all, a tasty, quality pizza that we'd order again next time we're in the neighbourhood.
