“Definetly the best place we stayed!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2011

My Partner and i came across this resort at the last minute before we left for our holiday. i had missed some up to date reviews on another resort close by and made sure that i was not staying there. Fortunealty I came across this. Cedar Park is a remote and quite place to relax and watch the wildlife and the oppurtunity to eat what i would call world class food. Rosie, Christoph and Marcus have renovated each room individually and there is a great deck out near the trickling river to eat and drink on. i couldnt emphisise enough how much they all looked after us whilst we stayed there i enjoyed every conversation about trips around the world. They also loved to chat about what your day was like and have a a great knowledge on whats around and how much you could do in a day comfortably. The orphaned animals that they care for are all friendly and are usually greeting you outside. We were here in end Oct. good choice in weather conditions there was only i light pitter patter during the early mornings....

Thanks again to Rosie Christoph and Marcus for your excellent hospitality and i hope to be back again.

We have recently just got back Oz and we with all the travelling and activities we had been doing we wanted to stay somewhere we could relax and totally unwind so we thought Cedar Park would be the place for it and it definitely was. We new Cedar Park was secluded so we hired a car and preparing ourselves for getting lost, but we found it was really well signed posted from the main highway. Whilst on our way we visited Kuranda would of like to of done the scenic rail and cable cars but didn't see much point whilst we had the car and was driving through anyway. Cedar Park was an excellent base for seeing the rain forest and Atherton Tablelands. The staff where very helpful in telling us which where the best sights to see and gave us a map in finding these. C.P was really clean and tidy but marked them down as I found a few spider webs in our room and I am really afraid of spiders but overall the room standard was excellent.

We could not fault Cedar Park in any way at all.
Rosie. Christoph. Marcus could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
This included keeping the kitchen open to make sure we werent hungry when we got back from our day out at 8.30pm now thats service.

We loved every aspect of this unique place from the spacious and clean room to the excellent meals. We spent only 2 nights but 3-4 would have been better to really relax ! We enjoyed relaxing on our patio and the Wallabies came right up to us every evening ! Dring on the road to get there you may worry a bit but trust me, you will not be disappointed !

Room Tip: Loved the large end room !

Look 2 things were wrong ,
there is a sunlight in each room , so u wake up when the sun comes up, it is really bright and u cant close it off. that killed me i was so tired and needed the lie in.

the food was great quality, but salty as, all i could taste was salt,no flavors. so if u do go there ask for no salt and add your own. some people like it like that and thats fine .

would i recommend it again , yes appart from that which sort of can be fixed , the hosts are great and accomadating..great service and great place.

A truly remarkable place. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave this little piece of paradise. The accommodation, the fabulous food ,the outstanding customer service and the wildlife is truly an experience to be enjoyed. A huge thank you to Rosy,Christophe ,Markus and Jolanta.

Room Tip: Our room was just off the dining area. Perfect location. Not noisy at all.

We had a very quiet relaxating 3 night stay at Cedar Park. Markus, Rosy and Christoph are very friendly and very welcoming. Excellent breakfast and dinner and good value for money.
Brillant to see the local wildlife up close, very cute wallabies.

We would recommend to anyone spending a few nights around the area to stay here for at least 3 nights to soak in environment, peace and calm. Very clean and spacious accomodation. Hopefully we'll get the chance to go back at some point if we're in the area.
