“A good lunch en route home”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

Returning home after a week in Queensland, we chose the inland route to NSW rather than the coast road (it takes considerably longer, though). Kilcoy was the first place we found that had anything worthwhile open (Queen's Birthday Holiday, so lots of establishments were taking the day off). We combined coffee (without which the day is lost) and lunch, and found both elements of high quality - chicken curry that wasn't too spicy but still revitalised the taste buds, and a mocha that was well endowed with chocolate ... yum!

“Room for Improvement”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014

It's funny that the profile picture depicts that indeed french toast and bacon is available, when a visit there recently had us explaining what it is and how its to be made. nonetheless, what usually is a pleasant pit stop during a long journey, wasn't so. I don't tend to be a coffee snob but that was 1 of 2 bad coffee's i'd had that day bought from this cafe. while we were left with an almost half hour wait for our breakfast order to be started, we found a touch of disappointment. maybe it was on our part that we shouldn't have been on a schedule but luckily the nibblies were decent. not sure if chantilly is under new management but sadly we won't be visiting there any time soon.

“A Touch of Class”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

This café/restaurant is located in a side street just off the main road into Kilcoy from the east, watch for the signs as you come into Kilcoy.
The building is an old historic Queenslander that has been lovingly restored with modern fittings etc but with the original character of the building being maintained.
Serving snacks, breakfast, lunch & dinner, meals of good quality and generous serves and of course great coffee.
Indoor and outdoor dining or I think you can even have a private room.
We have been here several times for breakfast, always an enjoyable experience.
Would definitely recommend it for a meal or just a coffee.

“Simple and fresh.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013 via mobile

A simple and fresh coffee shop in a beautiful Queenslander.

We have a wrap and a sandwich. Both were very good using fresh produce.

“A charming Queenslander with a nice atmosphere and good freshly made food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

We called in on our way to Brisbane via Kilcoy and weren't disappointed with our steak sandwich. Freshly made and tasty.
