We came to the tea house as part of a tour, we had the choice of kangaroo or barrumundi with fresh salad tea and coffee. The food were plated up beautifully, the owner gave us a talk on history and origins of fruits serve on the plate, he and was very friendly and show us many old books with pictures of what "fruits use to be like" as suppose to the GM fruits now.
After the typhoon in March it was very quite, another table of four and our party of 9 were the only one there that rainy afternoon. We were told that the flooded river water came very close to the front of the tea house, lucky it never made it. Surround by tropical greens, it was a beautiful lunch experience.
