“Bird Watch.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Just a nice easy walk into the bird hide but we didn't see too many birds just some ducks and a few beautiful green Kingfishers. The area to the right of the car park was full of magpie geese and they put on a beautiful aerial show for me and my camera.

“FNQ experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Beautiful easy walk around the lagoon and we got a surprise when we stumbled across a beautiful 1.5metre harmless snake. Was so amazing for two city people to watch this wonderful creature in it's natural environment.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

After being told how fabulous the Lagoon was at present with birdlife by The Information Centre made the trip out to see one bee eater and not one bird call and that was early morning around 7.30am....water lillies and the two butterflies that flitted past were lovely and glad we had put "Bushman's" on as the mossies were horrific buzzing around. The bird hide was covered in spiderwebs so dont think it was highly visited.

“A lovely spot for photos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

It's a shame about the feral pigs that wreck some of it - apart from that it's very nice to go there after the wet season or to check out the water lillies.
