“Very Scenic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

We stopped here on our Daintree Rainforest Trip with Billy Tea Safari's. The tide was low, and the beach seemed to be endless.

Very scenic beach, even though it was quite overcast the day we visited. Mangrove areas, rainforest, and breathtaking views. The park is well set up with rest room facilities and picnic tables. Some walking trails and ample parking this time of year.

Our guide set up a fruit sampling and Billy Tea making while we were here, which just added to the experience. Matt was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area.

“Beautiful beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2014

We drove there on a rainy day so there wasn't too many people. The beach was quite empty. Too many people will probably spoil the serene feeling of the beach.

“beautiful beach for a walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

Lovely beach, especially for a beach walk. We came here after ziplining, and had a delightful walk on the beach. It was low tide so you could walk quite a ways. Very peaceful, although there were other visitors there. Great photo ops.

“Serene and unspoilt”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

Have been here over several trips over the years and it doesn't to have appeared to have been taken over by commercialisation. Yes, there are places to stay and places to eat but it is done with the environment in mind. Take time to do several of the boardwalk walks and stroll along the beaches. Take heed of the croc signs. Yes, you are in crocodile territory so just be weary of where you are. It is safe if you take the right safety precautions and watch where you hang out. Enjoy, it's a beautiful serene part of the world away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

We took this trip with Tribal Adventures. It was a full day and was fabulous. We were picked up from our hotel and spent the day travelling to Cape Tribulation, the Daintree Forest, Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas and back to Cairns. We saw plenty of wildlife, swam in a natural river, and had a local guide George, with us all day. He was full of stories and was great fun. We loved the day, and would recommend this day to everyone.
