“A must go to place!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed for two nights and had an amazing time! Nestled in the rainforest with a 10 metre walk to the beach, great food, bon fire, awesome surrounding area and activities (snorkel/horse ride etc). Thanks for an awesome stay Matt!

The journey there is ace.
The cabins are comfy.
The beach is beautiful.
The food is top very good! One of the best parma's I've had outside of Melbourne.

And to top it off.. the pool parties rock all night :)

Room Tip: Close to the pool/bar/beach area if you want a short stumble home. Closer to the reception if you wa...

The staff were amazing - genuine, friendly and helpful. The rooms vary in fanciness, but all are clean, neat and comfortable - I doubt very much you will be spending much time in your room anyway. The location is stunning, right in the thick of the forest and on the beachfront, but maintained enough to be comfortable. Blown away by the combination of natural beauty, service and quality. A must.

Room Tip: The rooms closer to the beach are obviously nicer and more expensive, but they are near to the bar/b...

Stayed at the Cape Trib Beach House with a group in mid-December. Great venue, striking the perfect balance between remote location and good amenities. The room was clean and very dark (I hadn't slept this well in weeks!), the beach is steps away from the lounge area, and the food was delicious.

Room Tip: Rooms closer to the beach are great, but get a lot more noise from the restaurant/lounge area.

I had never been to Cape Tribulation before but will certainly return!
The Beach House was the perfect venue for our Staff get together.

Matt, the Manager was very accommodating and made sure everything went according to plan.
Harry the bartender was an absolute superstar, he attended to our every need with a smile. He certainly went the extra mile for us all. We were a group of 38 so I can imagine that we were more demanding than the average guest!

The accommodation was fab, kept really clean and the air con was a blessing in such hot and humid weather!!

A big thumbs up and thoroughly recommend this venue for people from all walks of life.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was enjoyable. We'd booked a 4 room, but there were 5 beds in the room. Wasn't a problem for us as there were only 3 people in the room, just something to be aware of. The room was good for the price we paid, though the fly nets on the windows had holes in and one had come off it's runner. The other thing was plugs, or lack of. There was 1 plug, for the Air-con. So unless you have a multi-socket then you can be nice and cool, or sweating and charging things. But again, this wasn't an issue for us as we had a multi socket.

The scenery, wildlife and placement of the beach house is excellent. We say a Goanna wander passed whilst we were sat eating lunch in the kitchen. You'd surround by rainforest and it goes straight onto the beach!

The kitchen was alright, one of the two fridges was broken, so it was a squeeze for space. There were cutlery and plates available for a deposit at reception. The kitchen could of done with a clean as there were cobwebs in the food shelves, though you are in the rainforest, so that can be excused to a degree.

The toilets weren't great, in the males ones you were greeted with a smell of urine, which didn't leave the 2 days we were there.

Free WIFI at reception.

We'd stay here again and defiantly recommend it to people. Would also recommend you drive here too, gives you so much more freedom to explore!

Arrived at the start of the December low season and was super chuffed to be upgraded to St Crispin 3 (reckon worth the extra if you are looking for privacy and a direct path to the beach) as it was quite when we got there. Super helpful and friendly staff. Dinner was reasonable considering the size of the special risotto (could have feed two!!). Check out for low season deals in Trip Advisor. We got free beaky and Matt (the manager) even throw in a bottle of wine for good measure!! Another advantage of going at low season, you might end up getting your own private horse ride through the rainforest and beach (you can tell they love their horses there and look after them well). Yes you might get rain in December but it is the rainforest after all & a it gives release to the heat.
