“Best in Buderim”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012

I am a regular at Chopping Block for coffee and sometimes cake etc for staff birthdays.
I have also been a few times for a meal - the breakfast here is AWESOME! The big breakfast is amazing, especially the hash brown, which is more like a big potato cake with herbs - real comfort food!
The staff are all really friendly and don't take long to remember your 'usual'.
It can get quite busy - there's usually a reason for that though!
Best coffee AND breakfast in Buderim...

“Just keep coming back here because its so good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2011

The menu is always changing. Look out for specials. I had lunch there - Mullet in batter - such an overlooked fish - this was simply great with salad. If you can drink coffee black - and it tastes great - they have made it right - and they do every time. Just happy to find a place where food is cooked on the premises. Reasonable prices. My current sunny coast favourite.

“Very Hit and Miss”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2010

I am a Buderim local and have been increasingly disappointed with The Chopping Block over the past year. The food is now getting expensive for the quality and quantity of what is served. The owners are lovely people and extremely friendly however this is no longer enough. I recently had breakfast with friends at a cafe on the beach at Hastings St, Noosa and the quality and pricing of the menu made me realise how much The Chopping Block has slipped. If I pay $19 for eggs benedict it should not have a teaspoon of gritty spinach and very ordinary presentation. The cafe in Noosa served organic eggs benedict with ham off the bone, tomato chutney, a pile of freshly baked sour dough toast, incredibly well cooked spinach AND coffee for $12!!

Sorry Chopping Block really need to improve...lost this local.
