“lovely gardens with many old trees”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

This place is a hidden gem in Daylesford. These gardens are beautiful and hold some very old trees as well that are a part of the national trust. There are many monarch butterflies that flutter about that give the garden an enchanting feel.

Theres even a lovely little cafe hidden within called Wombat Hill Cafe thats lovely

“Beautiful Gardens”

A beautiful short stop before heading to our accomodation. Lovely surrounds and food at the cafe. Could relax in the gardents all day.

“Gorgeous grounds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Lovely gardens with a beautiful cafe inside. A lovely walk on a sunny day. Was great to go up the tower and see the views around - there could be a bit more room at the top for people to move around.

“Take care if driving the scenic route”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Drove the scenic route in my little 4WD and had to be really careful as the road is unsealed and narrow. Had just enough room. You do however get amazing views of the town and beyond. The gardens themselves are quite nice. Not sure about the Tower or cafe as didn't visit either.

“A bit tired”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

The gardens are very well maintained and the trees very old but it was a pretty dour experience. There were no joyful flower beds in this Spring season to brighten up the gardens.
