“A great stay at Tree Tops”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Can only repeat what others are saying. Tree Tops is a beautiful, homely guesthouse with a wonderful garden for relaxing. Karin and Harry are the best of hosts and Karin's cooking is a delight. The delicious Devonshire tea on arrival was very welcome. Breakfasts are a highlight and will see you through till dinner time. Plenty to see and do in Bundanoon and surrounds. One tip: no matter how warm the weather always take a jacket, it can change quickly.

We stayed at Treetops for 2 nights and t was wonderful.
From the time we walked in the front door we were greeted by Karin and made to feel very welcome.
Karin had the room warmed for us on arrival. The room was clean and tastefully decorated with an ensuite. Nothing we asked was too much trouble including lending us torches to go and see the Glow Worms at night.Tea and coffee was available at the bar in the common room and this was self serve i this area there were board games T.V books magazines and comfy lounges. There was also a billiard room and another sitting room. In the afternoon Devonshire teas were freshly made and the scones were delightful. Breakfast was a feast. There was a choice of apple and orange juice, also fresh tea and coffee and three cereals, fruit salads , toast, pancakes followed by a cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato and mushrooms yum we didn't need lunch. We would recommend Treetops to anyone wanting to have a getaway and relax in a friendly, warm environment. Thank you Karin and Harry for your kind hospitality Stephen and Roz

We had a delightful 2 night stay in this lovely guesthouse and were thoroughly spoilt by welcoming & friendly hosts Karin & Harry. Our room was very comfortable with all we needed, but the highlights have to be the wonderful breakfasts, that consist of a buffet choice of cereals, fruit juice, 2 fruit salads, (one fresh, one dried fruit) an yoghurt, followed by freshly cooked pancakes, and then an English breakfast of bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms & the freshest of new laid eggs from Tree Tops' own chooks. If your still have room there's a choice of 3 breads plus banana bread with a wide choice of delicious jams & spreads. Karin's freshly baked featherlight scones with jam & fresh cream for afternoon tea are to die for.
There's plenty of reading matter, a TV, a billiards table & a selection of board games in the 3 lounge areas which are ideal places to meet other guests. Rooms do not have tea & coffee making facilities but a big fridge is available for guests' use in one of the lounge areas and guests are invited to enjoy the enormous selection of teas & coffee available. There are also plenty of glasses for those who bring their own alcoholic beverages. We found Tree Tops an ideal place for a superb base to relax, far enough away from the more 'touristy' areas of the Southern Highlands but close enough for anyone who wishes to explore the area.

My husband and I spent a lovely 3 days at the guesthouse where we experienced the wonderful hospitality of Karin and Harry. We enjoyed the breakfasts, absolutely delicious and particularly the fact that we were left alone to do whatever we chose to do. Always helpful when it came to supplying maps and information and anything else we required. We enjoyed a thoroughly pleasant holiday in lovely Bundanoon and surrounds at the Treetops Guesthouse. Excellent - The hospitality & service given to us by Karin & Harry the owners was 5 star. The room was clean and well presented, the breakfast was above expectation. I would recommend this establishment to any person who is looking for accommodation at Bundanoon. Thanks for a wonderful two days that we stayed.

My wife and I stayed at TreeTops for 2 nights commencing 28 August , a treat for my wife's birthday. This is our second visit and we will certainly go again.

Harry and Karin are welcoming and gracious hosts who do everything they can to make the stay enjoyable, restful and refreshing. Charming and friendly, sociable and engaging; but equally sensitive so as not to intrude. Thoroughly lovely people with generosity of heart.

The accommodation is likewise charming. Comfortable and commodious but equally quiet and intimate. Lovely large ensuite bedrooms with warm coverings for these southern highlands nights. Meals, which are a treat in themselves, are provided in a large dining area; or,as with us for a romantic evening, in a more intimate setting. Karin cooked us a delightful chicken Kiev with vegetables ( and wine if needed) followed by a scrumptious sticky date pudding with genuine butter scotch sauce. Tea and coffee to follow. Karin - a big thank you.

Our experience at Tree Tops as on our previous visit was without fault; and we would categorise
Tree Tops as a "must visit" in every sense. Let Harry and Karin spoil you with lavish hospitality and all at a most reasonable price.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent.
