Not modernised, you get the traditional mill buildings, even with the sound of running water at the entrance. We found it by chance, when looking for a restaurant near the Bluebell Railway and couldn't have bettered the choice.
Very attentive staff, in both the bar area and a quieter restaurant area (even though it was Bank holiday Monday). Good choice on the menu, not too pricey, excellent food and tastefully presented. My sweet didn't tick all the boxes, though it wasn't bad; I just felt the flavours didn't go together- bailey's cheesecake with a flavoured icecream.
Ideal setting, perfect after a day out at either The Bluebell Railway or Standon, National Trust.
