“The new beds at Ibis are pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

5 nights and no problems at all. A long busy business trip spending all day standing and talking at a trade fair makes for a tired grumpy bloke but the Ibis kept me calm and satisfied. The staff are pretty cool and teh rooms are fine for this type of trip. The new beds are better than last year and the food is fine. The breakfast missed a couple of days of mushrooms which was a disappointment, I don't know what happened there as the breakfast is usually spot on. But no big deal, I'll be back next year.

Stopped at the Ibis Wellingborough on Saturday 17/08/2013 for an overnight stay for the Monster Truck Show 2013 at Santa Pod Raceway.

It was our first time staying at an Ibis Hotel, but I was quite impressed, especially considering the cost. The hotel is clean, the staff helpful and friendly and the hotel rooms are what you'd expect from a travel lodge type hotel. Our room consisted of a double bed, settee bed, dressing table and chair, tv, tea & coffee making facilities and an ensuite bathroom with large standing shower.

There is a McDonalds restaurant and a pub called The Priory just over the car park for anyone who doesn't want to eat in the hotel. The Priory pub has adult and kids section with a playing area out the back. The meals are not very good and I would not recommend them.

The only negative point about our visit to the Ibis Hotel is that we had a second floor room which overlooked the main front car park. The noise generated by other guests returning to the hotel drunk was a problem until about 3am - not great after travelling such a long way or when you've got kids that need their sleep!

Stayed for one night as location was near to family wedding. Everything was very clean - including under the beds - we dropped an earring! Just a shame that there was no light option for breakfast - £7.95 is just outrageous if you only want cereal and juice for breakfast. No noise at night despite being so close to main road junction. Location made it easy to find.

I stayed here for one night on business. There was plenty of parking, reception were friendly and my room was quiet and very comfortable. Recommended for short business stays. I would always prefer an ibis over the other budget hotel chains as I find it the cleanest.

Exactly what and how it is described. Great easy location and within easy and quick access to M1, Northampton and Santa Pod.
The hotel is clean, tidy and fairly quiet which is surprising with its location. The staff were helpful and offered help where needed.
