booked a one night spa break from mark breaks via e bay, fantastic value for money, we upgraded to a suite and it was well worth the extra money the room was fantastic, the treatments in the spa was excellent the only dissapointment was the pool and jaccusi was a little too cold, the food and the service in the hotel was excellent and the quality was amazing, i cannot recomend this hotel enough will definately be going back.

Booked a 1 night break with dinner and breakfast. The Hotel is lovely, relaxing and clean.........what makes it very special? The staff, they are so proffessional and friendly.

Wow, what a stay.

Risley Hall was great. The food was excellent and the staff superb. The hotel is now under new ownership and it shows. The new GM is doing a great job! Our Suite was excellent and came at the right price when we purchased a Spa Break from Mark at [----]. What a great deal, £179 including Dinner, lovely room, treatments and breakfast. At first we thought it was £179 each, but it was the total for both of us!

A really wicked stay at Risley Hall.

I would recommend without hesitation.

Stayed here ater booking through ebay. First impressions were great, stunning gardens, lovely building etc, but when we got inside it's even nicer.
All but 2 staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was so full of character with a huge bathroom and beautiful origional features.
Food in the restaurant was very tasty, if a little on the pricey side (but if you get a deal off ebay like I did, then the meal is included).
Spa is a must, gorgeous pool, jacuzzi and treatment rooms...and agin, buy the package off ebay and you get 2 treatments each. (more if you stay longer I think).
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, will stay again and i'm even thinking about holding my wedding here.

I too stayed on a one night spa break through Ebay (although I think since the hotel has taken over by Swallow these deals appear to have ceased).

The rooms in the hotel are full of character. I stayed in room 4 which overlooked the gardens & had a four poster bed. There was tea & coffee making facilities (inc a caffietere), biscuits & water. Plus bath robes. The food & service was very good and the staff friendly.

It was very quiet though, I had the spa to myself on one of the days! I agree with other comments that the jacuzzi is a bit too hot.

But would highly recommend for a relaxing, peaceful break away.
