“Adequate hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. In a good location to explore the area. Would echo previous reviews about parking. The car parking area is free after 4pm but it belongs to M&S and if you check in early there is a two hour limit after which you will be fined - to be fair the receptionist warned us about this - she couldn`t use the park herself

Very attractive, clean, friendly and central hotel. Great for a short break. Excellent staff always friendly and welcoming. Maybe a little stark, but for just sleeping this is fine in a beautiful area

Stayed here over the weekend Tour de France!! Staff were very helpful and made sure we had a great stay! Rooms were very clean. Only grumble is the car park but isn't a major issue as it's still free!! Would recommend and can't wait to stay again! Thank you glossop Travelodge!

Handy hotel less than an hour from home, Burnley, for Chatsworth House.
Free parking 4pm to 10am on car park outside. Hotel is in converted industrial mill and underneath is a Weatherspoons so handy for breakfast. An hour to Chatsworth House

Very clean, very polite helpfull cleaning lady on our floor (room 132).Excellent service from the girl on reception on the friday night, we had mistakenly booked a double room for two males(one autistic) who was getting upset at sharing. Despite the hotel being full due to the tour de france she managed to supply extra bedding to placate the situation. Also helpful lad on reception saturday night when we arrived back from the wedding reception, late and tired ,who helped several of us whose key cards didn't work. Both situations handled with minimum fuss. Many thanks to all.

Room Tip: The family who travelled up from Leicester had booked several rooms on each floor. One couple were ke...

I stayed at the Travelodge Glossop for 1 night for work purposes. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was huge and comfortable. It's in a great location and great value for money. The receptionist Suzie was very friendly and really helpful with local amenities. Highly recommended!
