“Gorgeous butties”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Just got a take away the sandwiches are gorgeous, the choice of filling & breads was great, the fillings yummy, you can have what you like basically, all the ingredients were really fresh,
The cakes were as scrumptious as the look, don't bother doing a packed lunch, get yours from here, fab place

“A Good Stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Exploring Castleton on a wet afternoon the Angel proved to be heaven.

The owner is friendly and he makes his own bakeries - his scones are just great.

One to recommend!

“Well worth visiting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

An amazing choice of sandwhich fillings, also pizzas, baked potatoes, excellent homemade cookies, chocolate desserts and more, all served by friendly staff. Well worth visiting on Castle Street (off the main road through Castleton).

“Homemade Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Very friendly atmosphere in this small but comfortable family run cafe in the very heart of Castleton. Everything is homemade and delicious. Creamy hot chocolate and a pot of real tea (no tea bags here) A must when visiting the lovely village of Castleton
