“Excellent Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

Stayed at the Hilton on an excellent package, one night stay, 3 course evening meal and parking for 8 days. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Hotel is lovely and has a nice seating area outside. Room a good size with tea/coffee facilities. Bed very comfortable. Taxi service was brilliant and very efficient and about 10 minutes to the airport. On arrival we went to the taxi stand and a taxi was ready to take us back to the Hilton to pick our car up. Certainly took the stress out of parking at airport.
This is a 4 star hotel and the only reason we haven't given it an excellent rating is because there was no bottled water in the room and it cost £4.00 for a small bottle. Bit of a rip off really, we have stayed in 3 star hotels where we have had a bottle of still and sparkling water. Overall a stress free experience and one which we will repeat.

On our annual migration to Cyprus, we would normally fly from Birmingham or Bristol; however, due to the unavailability of preferred flight times, we booked a 'random' overnight hotel via our tour operator (The Co-operative). When I say random, you can actually choose your preferred hotel (along with the appropriate rate) however, you can also elect to have - what could be best described as a 'lucky-dip' for under £80. Well, what a lucky dip this was - absolutely superb. Warm welcome, friendly staff and, because you booked the accommodation it also came with free parking and free shuttle to and from the airport. On top of this, you also had the choice of a three course meal (including coffee) for £19pp - absolute bargain! There was also a bottle of wine on the table which simply said...........open me for £15..........had to be done. It may be a little dated and over due a makeover; however, overall superb.

We stayed here after our return from holiday, we were all tired the minibus was at the airport in 5 mins, the check in was so quick, straight to our beds the children were so happy which is the main thing for us. The room was large lots of little extras it was fantastic, breakfast was £10 each for us and free for children and it was brilliant. All this for £75 with parking for 10 days could not ask for anything better it was great xx fantastic end to our holiday.

We arrived late in the evening, tired after a long journey and a family event, to be greeted by the best ever Receptionist! The lift was out of order and I have mobility problems but she quickly identified a room on the ground floor for us, made us feel very welcomed and assured us that she would be there as well next morning in case we had any other needs. Our room was lovely, very quiet and the bed was so comfortable. We slept in the next morning and really regretted we hadn't asked for an early morning call! Breakfast was very good served by friendly staff. We were so sad to be leaving afterwards but look forward to returning in the future.

Well located, if not a little difficult to find.
Room, Dinner and Breakfast all good. Beds were comfortable.
The whole place is in need of an update and there was a strange smell around the public areas. (not in rooms I am pleased to say)
Great for an overnighter in the area

This Hilton is located in the center of a large intersection, next to M1 and 20 to 30 minutes drive to Loughborough, East Midlands outlet, Nottingham; close the E.M. Airport. We had window open at night, slept well, no big noise from outside. (only other guests inside...)

We choose the hotel as we "needed" to stay in Loughborogh area for a graduation ceremony, the city does not offer heaps of hotel choices and we like Hilton.

The public areas of the hotel are quite well, some furniture a bit run down, the rooms are bit outdated, but still okay. Pricing for the rooms though is adequate.

Breakfast is really good, choice, quality and service is well, the bar is good as well, however to pricy. Staff at bar, breakfast and reception was friendly and helpful at all times.

Hotel seems to be always quite busy due to proximity of the airport, they offer huge parking facilities on hotel ground. WiFI free, but not in rooms, only at bar / lobby.

As good hotels are limited in the area I would certainly go back to the hotel any time, however I would recommend to invest some money to update rooms and furniture in public areas.

We stayed here before an early flight and were pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely and had lots of little extras. The hotel is literally spitting distance from the airport. I appreciated the bathrobe and the free drink at the bar. I would visit again.
