As it was our first time flying from East Midlands airport on holiday, we chose this hotel
to stay the night before departing. The package booked was for 1 night with 15 days parking.
Overall, we were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. Check-in was very efficient,
including advice on where to park my car for the duration of our holiday. Soon after settling
in to the room, we received a call from reception to check that all was in order ( which it was ) -
nice touch. We asked for extra pillows for my wife, which were delivered very quickly.
We had an early meal in the Cafe Niro - nothing special about the menu, but good quality.
Transfer to the airport the following morning at 4 am was excellent, right on time with a very courteous driver.
On our return from holiday, the mini-coach arrived very quickly. Again a very helpful driver, as we were unable to use it, due to numbers of other passengers, he quickly arranged a suitable taxi transfer back to the hotel at no cost to us.
One point of improvement to the hotel facilities - my disabled wife found the disabled toilet too low. In her view, this should raised higher. Also use felt that this facility should be checked for cleanliness more frequently, given its function.
