We were staying in nearby Haverthwaite and drove into Ulverston on a Saturday night for a bite to eat. All the nice looking pubs serving food were full of Saturday night drinkers so although we did not have curry in mind we ended up eating here. It was fairly busy but we were seated. Found the menu really cheap - approx £3.50 for a starter and between £6 - £8 for an ordinary main course. The food was really nice and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. We even got an apology for any delay as they had a lot of people in getting takeaway although we weren't inconvenienced. Would eat here again - total bill £30 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 rice and 1 naan, pint Cobra and a J20.
