Interior is very cosy and pub-like with a lot of effort put into the furnishings. The service was terrific although it was relatively quiet at that time so it was hard to gauge what it'd be like when busy.
The food itself was nice and didn't have to wait too long. I had gammon steak. The portions are large (always a good thing) with the quality of food being slightly better than modern "pub grub".
I would probably pop back into the farmers arms if I were to be back down in the area
