A cosy country inn with low ceilings, open fires, and picnic tables on the quiet street outside. Friendly staff, a good selection of beers, wines and spirits, and a great landlord make this the best pub in a market town well known for its great pubs, and guests staying at the inn can expect to leave satisfied - if a little averse to sunlight.

“Cute olde English inn”

Stayed one night in july 2005, cute inn with just 4 rooms, facilities are very good and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Everything has been thought of, DVD and game machine, bath robes, bottled water. The room even though situated over a popular inn and on one f the main roads it wasn't too noisy.
The food is very good, huge portions, all in all a very pleasant B & B
