“Lovely cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

We popped into Broughton on the way home from a visit to the Lakes and were very glad we did. This little cafe and bakers was a lovely find, they offer nice teas and a good lunch time menu. I had a bowl of tasty pumpkin soup and a GLUTEN FREE role, which was happily offered on request. They offer a good selection of cakes and bread, including gluten free options for cakes. The cafe is nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere, plus the staff were friendly, very helpful and cheerful. Recommended.

“wonderful little cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

really cosy and homely, fantastic place for breakfast. good coffee, omelettes and service. Staff had time to talk, smells from the linked bakery were divine. Breads cakes and pies looked gorgeous. so pleased that we called in on out way up the west Cumbria coast. We would certainly recommend to others. Parking a little tricky, but well worth persevering.....
