The Hillcrest was part of my youth, Friday Saturday nights early 1980's....... and nothing much had changed by all accounts..................until Richard got a grip of the place!!!
Fast forward 30 yrs and the place has been brought well and truly up to date and not before time. Re branding the restaurant, now called Cu, creating the perfect ambiance and welcome. The chef is producing the most innovative, creative menu I have seen by far for many a year, outstanding food, fantastic atmosphere staff second to none, especially Sam who deserves a special mention.
If you are looking for the personal touch, not churned out rubbish or food hyped up to be something its not with a price tag to match, then please try the CU, never ever in my years of 'trip advising' have I come across a place that so deserves to do well. After years of stagnating in the disco, churn it out same old mass produced food. then being brave enough to say we are going to do it differently, you so deserve every success. xxx
