“Absolutely Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Stayed here for one night en-route to another location.

Lovely place, with excellent quality rooms, friendly helpful staff and superb food.

Our room was large, the bed was king size (five foot) and incredibly comfortable. Full en-suite shower room with an excellent shower - one of the best! Soap, shampoo and bodywash provided were excellent quality. Kettle provided for tea/coffee making as well as biscuits - couldn't ask for more. TV wasn't the best and had limited channel choices, so if there was room for improvement it should be focused on that.

We ate our evening meal here and the food was absolutely fantastic. Good quality, nicely prepared and presented home cooked food. Excellent portion size and extremely tasty - so glad we had our meal here - cannot recommend the food here highly enough.

It is located very close to the M6 - which we couldn't hear traffic from at all - it is just incredibly conveniently located just off the motorway. However, it is quite close to another incredibly busy road. That said, the road traffic noise didn't disturb us excessively and our room fronted onto this road, but you can hear the traffic.

If we need somewhere to stay in this location I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here and/or having a meal here.

Great place to stay, we stopped here last minute after a very wet trip down the M6 from Scotland. Food and service very good, staff were polite and helpful.

Bedrooms very clean and well appointed, fantastic size with lots of space for our nearly two year old to run around :-)

Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to others

Room Tip: Room 6 is a great size for families!

Stayed here overnight 16th August. Service and hospitality were fantastic and I had a large, spacious room that with good facitities (large TV, Kettle, etc) and a large comfy bed. Very competitive price wise so I have no hesitation in recommending.

Room Tip: I had room number 1, which was excellent.

I stayed again and was again made very welcome by Kim and Jason their hospitality is first class.
The rooms are tasteful and spotless and the whole place is kept to a high level of service and friendly approach to all guests.
Also the food is reasonably priced and of great quality.

Stayed here Sat 4th August, 2012. The service was great. The Manager even ran us into Knutsford as he said the cabs were very expensive. We mentioned we couldn't work out the TV and he said he would sort it and leave it on for us when we returned. For info. it cost £7 in a cab on the way home. The room was lovely, very modern with good shower. The breakfast was also good, and again the waitress couldn't do enough for us. This is a very good value hotel, and will stay again rather than pay for an expensive room in the center of Knutsford.

Clean, good location, super sized and well appointed room and very competitive.
A little noisy due to the main road, but the advantages override this.
Shame the TV didn't work, but not the end of the world. Nicely cooked breakfast and good service.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

WE had a horrendous journey up the M6, and arrived later than planned, tired and hungry and in need of a drink! We had phoned to tell them we were running late. Went to check in and were warmly welcomed, given our key and they said if we would like to go up and take our case to the room they would have a drink ready for us when we returned. Which they did. Then we had a good dinner. And a lovely night's sleep in a very comfortable, spotless room. The shower was brilliant (important that) and breakfast was very good - lovely bacon, excellent herby sausages. I was concerned by its proximity to the M6 and was afraid the traffic noise would be intrusive, but we had the window open and it was really quiet. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We had room 5 and it was great !
