Description: This deli is wonderful and the choice of food and wine available is amazing. The owners always make customers really welcome with a coffee or juice while you browse. They have always done superb take away meals and cakes 'to die for'. In the last few months they have had an extension to the premises which houses the 'Eatery'. This a quite small area extremely tastefully furnished and there is a good choice on the menu. You can also choose food from the deli if you prefer. It is just the place for a decent coffee with a friend or for a romantic meal out. I would thoroughly recommend it to all.

“Don't overlook the little things - Park Lane Deli is full of treasures”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Whilst reviews are usually about the show-stopping mains, I'd like to highlight some of the lesser-mentioned reasons to visit the Park Lane Deli.

1. The dips. The hummous in particular is, if not home made, as delicious as if it were home made. It's tangy, with the right amount of garlic and lemon, and drizzled with tasty, lively olive oil - no doubt selected from their plentiful supplies in the deli. The Zattar also definitely worth a try - piquant and vibrant.

2. The bread - taken from the secret supply of fresh baguettes and flat breads sold in the deli, the bread served with dips or as a side is delicious! Don't forget to drop in to take some home - or some danishes or croissants also fresh and available. What an oasis in a baked-goods desert this place is!

3. The dessert - particularly the Olive Oil Icecream with home made candy floss. This has to be tasted to be believed. It is really delicious. The sweet-yet-savoury olive oil icecream has the most amazing creamy texture, and combined with the sweet bite of the candy floss is a taste sensation! Just make sure you put them together on your spoon to get the best effect.

4. the selection of wines and whiskies: impressive! From also a nice little belgian beer collection, all of which can be had as dine-in or bought to take home. This place makes giving in to temptation so easy and so delicious!

5. The friendly hosts - we eat here or shop here on a semi-regular basis as we're seriously lucky to be around the corner, and the owners of the park lane deli are laid back, friendly and have zero attitude which makes you feel right at home. Last time we ate there, we were paying at the counter and they generously gave us a gift of bag of croissants for breakfast. Brilliant.

Definitely eat here, and try everything .

“Good but not perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Had the chicken and the rice and sauce were great but the dish came within10 minutes and the chicken was over cooked and dry so must have been pre cooked and reheated apart from that I would agree with other comments about the service etc.

Would visit again but realising the food is not to the standard of top chefs as per Gees in Sandbach or Romazzinos in Alsager but everything else was perfect.

My wife bought some carrot bread and we had it for breakfast it was fantastic.

“Great food and service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

I went with my wife & daughter on a Sunday evening. The food was excellent, very well cooked with generous portions. The service was very good but also quite informal. The only downside was we didn't have room for a desert which sounded fantastic. We'll certainly be back soon!

“Shocked at how excellent this place is!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

We booked a table for 9 in the restaurant. The food was excellent, service extremely attentive. I was amazed at the "different" but varied choices of food, the four children in our party loved the whole experience. We can't wait to return again!

“Lovely food, authentic Armenian taste”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

Had a great birthday meal here. Staff were very attentive. Menu varied and portions were generous. Boar and chicken mains were a high point. Non chilled wine the only complaint! Will go again!
